Ground+Co is an initiative of The Underground Collaborative – a social enterprise cafe in Perth that exists to break the cycles of homelessness through employment, education and training.

Powered by The Underground Collaborative, Ground+Co is its first employment cafe initiative nestled in the Perth Cultural Centre within the State Library of WA that employs people experiencing or at-risk of homelessness. We’re passionate about producing great coffee, but there’s more to us than just caffeine – we not only employ people from disadvantaged backgrounds, but 100% of Ground+Co’s profits are reinvested back into training and employing people experiencing, or at-risk of homelessness.

There are around 10,000 people experiencing homelessness in WA; 116,000 across the country. These numbers seem pretty unfathomable, and we understand this can feel overwhelming and often as individuals we don’t really know what we can do.

Want to make an impact with your coffee habit?

By supporting The Underground Collaborative and enjoying our hospitality at Ground+Co, you can make a very real, and very tangible difference. Every coffee you buy provides employment for people experiencing, or at-risk of homelessness. This not only provides them some financial stability, but can also reduce the duration of homelessness as our employees become more empowered, gain independence and most importantly, maintain stable housing.

So if you’re in Perth, please come say hi – we’d love to enjoy a cup of joe with you!

Small act, big impact.

The team at The Underground Collaborative and Ground+Co are incredibly grateful for your contribution towards our mission in breaking the cycles of homelessness. You can also donate securely at The Underground Collaborative.

    Thank you so much!

We are an endorsed Deductible Gift Recipient. All donations over $2 are changing lives and tax deductible.
